Q. What is the difference between a single roll and a double roll?
A single roll of wallpaper covers approximately 27 square feet (in most cases). A double roll contains twice that amount on one roll. In most cases, wallpaper is sold in double rolls only.
Q. Why do you give prices per single roll if they are sold in double rolls only?
This is a standard in the wallpaper industry. The retail list price printed in the manufacturers’ wallpaper sample books are per single roll, therefore we price our items to help you compare the savings. However, wallpaper usually needs to be ordered in even quantities (2, 4, 6, 8, etc.), since the manufacturer often sells them in double rolls only.
Border is priced and sold in single 5 yard spools unless stated otherwise.
We do not carry a lot of overhead costs, such as employees, toll-free phone lines, and rental expense, so we are able to pass on the savings to our customers. We also stock all of our featured collections, enabling us better pricing on those items from our suppliers than our dropshipping competitors.
